I was asked to share on this blog about why people ignore people, especially in the body of Christ. I was led to the fact that it is more appropriate for me to address the “Ignore Spirit” directly. Let me share for a few moments on the subject of the “Ignore you” spirit. This hits home because I personally know the frustration this spirit manifests within. Once you realize this enemy you’ll be able to overcome this satanic attack. The weapons will always form, they just can’t prosper! Let’s identify this unseen enemy.

The Ignore spirit” will hurt feelings, break spirits, and totally alienate one from someone else. This is the cousin of “The Spirit closer”. The Ignore spirit will help close ones spirit. I have outlined the basics let me get specific.

The ignore spirit will shut you out and from the circles of ministry God has preordained that you will flourish in. The ignore spirit will make you feel that you are never anointed enough, your never good enough to be used by God. This spirit will have you invite those who you seek your validation with, and they will either not respond, or not show up. They ignore because they have issues with your Anointing, not so much you personally. They attack you will silence, absence, and of course, the” it slipped my mind spirit” and don’t forget “we already had something planned”. “I just didn’t realize it when we spoke” is another good one. My friend maybe you should catch the hint, the message, the intent of this spirit, especially when it happens over and over. You smile but you are hurting inside, and you ask God for answers or are we really seeking God or His judgment on that person or persons, for what they done to you again?

My friend will you realize that you are looking for in Men & Women, what you need to look to God for. God allows this spirit to flourish so that you will look to him and not man. Man continues to come up short with all of us, but God always repairs our brokenness. The next time someone ignores you, your ministry, your message, your God given Word, they have done you a favor. They have pushed you closer to God. Your brokenness will disappear within the presence of God. Your conversation will change, your spirit will change. You must understand a friend from an enemy. You need enemies just as much as you need friends. Please don’t take that as an opportunity to make enemies, all you have to do is serve God and you will have plenty enemies.

Prophet, why do I need enemies? Thanks for asking. You need enemies because they force the activation of dormant gifts within you. The hurt they inflict activates gifts that friends won’t. You seek your peace in the presence of God, when normally you would not make the time. The dormant Anointing within you is activated as it breaks through your issues in the presence of God. Friends accept you as you are, the enemy many times is afraid that you will realize your identify, your gifts, and most of all your destiny.

Anything to discourage you is necessary. “The ignore spirit” is one of the most effective weapons of a “Jealous General Spirit” in the body of Christ. This spirit is the equivalent of an Army Staff Sergeant in the secular world. This spirit world is highly organized, yes even in the demonic realm. People come in and out of your life for reasons, and most of all seasons. What you do with them can change, delay, or stop your season. The woman with the issue of blood knew that her season needed to change when she came in contact with the Anointed One. The “who” around her was not important enough to her for her to allow them to change, delay or stop her “new season”. Her passion changed her season, not the people’s ridicule of her, certainly not someone’s obvious games.

Let your passion change your season, not the demonic assignment. Use that assignment as a doorstep to your next level. This is why your presence in the Company of God is more precious than the devices of a spirit that views you as not important enough or not anointed enough. Know who you are, and if you don’t know who you are, then get with God and find out who you are. Listen to His mouthpieces learn and know his voice when you hear it. This will require some effort on your part. (Smile!)
